"Which bankruptcy software product should I use?".

We are often asked "What bankruptcy software product do you recommend"

Our answer is that 713 Training does not recommend a particular bankruptcy software program. We use Best Case in our training videos, simply because it seems to be easier for people to learn. One nice thing is that most of the bankruptcy software makers provide a demo of their software that you can download and try out. This includes Best Case, whose trial is fully functional, except that you can't electronically file a petition, and printed copies have the word "Demo" across them.

We have listed several options for your review:

  • Best Case Bankruptcy — Best Case Software / Stretto

Very much alive. Best Case by Stretto is used to prepare more than 80% of the bankruptcy cases filed nationwide and remains the premier case preparation and filing software for attorneys. The number (800) 492-8037 still works. It's the dominant player. Stretto

  • BankruptcyPro — Legal Pro Systems (now LegalPRO Systems)

Still active, though the company name evolved slightly. LegalPRO Systems offers BankruptcyPRO and can be reached at (210) 561-5300 — note the phone number has changed from the original 800 number. LegalPRO

  • Forms Workflow Solution — American LegalNet

Still exists, but under new ownership. Aderant acquired American LegalNet in January 2022, and the Forms WorkFlow product is part of their suite. Aderant

  • WBank — Puritas Springs Software

Puritas Springs Software is still active, specializing in reasonably-priced legal and tax software for courts, government agencies, and law firms since 1986. Small family-run Ohio operation. Still listing WBank on their site. Puritas Springs Software
