Victoria Ring is
an author, publisher and entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in
the small business marketing field. She has published and authored 22 books,
hundreds of articles as well as a series entitled "Victoria's Reports"
which centered around the topic of marketing and building a successful
freelance business working from home.
Victoria Ring is a
Certified Paralegal and Debtor Bankruptcy Specialist. She obtained her
Associate's Degree in Business Management from Columbus Business University
(1986) and her Associates in Paralegal Studies from Ashworth College (2001.)
She currently serves as the CEO for two successful companies: 713Training.Com,
LLC, and Graphico Publishing,
both of which were built from the "ground up" by Victoria.
Additionally, Victoria
Ring was the first paralegal to develop a virtual bankruptcy assistant
service that provided online paralegal services to bankruptcy attorneys
nationwide. After building a successful business of her own (The Lawyer
Assistant), she discovered a great lack of education in the drafting of
well-detailed bankruptcy petitions. In 2003, Victoria began training these
skills to attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and other professionals.
Today, Victoria has personally assisted thousands of people in starting
their own successful virtual bankruptcy home business. She provides several
two-day training seminars per year which have been approved by NALS for
7 CLE credits.
Victoria Ring is also
a popular speaker. Her style of training is unique because she has the
ability to make learning fun for the audience. Here are just two of the
hundreds of testimonials she has received from attendees at conferences
she has spoken at:
"I
learned more from Victoria Ring in one day than I have learned in the paralegal
course I enrolled in. She makes everything simple to understand and her
kind and meek personality allowed me to feel comfortable in participating
in the group discussions." J.P, Dayton OH
"Thank
you Victoria for an excellent seminar. You were so kind to answer everyone's
questions in simple, easy-to-understand terms. What I enjoyed the most
is that you didn't stand at the podium and read a rehearsed speech. Instead,
your ability to interact with the entire audience on an "ad-lib" basis
demonstrates the traits of a true professional." K.R, Columbus OH
Victoria Ring has also
served as a key-note speaker in full-day seminars for bankruptcy paralegals
through Lorman Education and NBI-SEMS. She also was the speaker at
two workshops at the 2005 National Notary Association Conference in Las
Vegas, Nevada.
Additionally, Victoria
Ring hosts weekly teleconferences which are used as ongoing training
purposes for customers who purchase her books. She also hosts her own private
seminars several times per year in various areas of the United States.
Victoria Ring currently
resides in Columbus, Ohio with her 15-year old cat Zipper. She loves Jesus
Christ and has dedicated a website to his honor where she publishes Christian-related
articles. (Ref: ServantofJesusChrist.Com)

The
Main Line
From
1978 to 1980, Victoria Ring served as writer, page designer and publisher
of a monthly employee newsletter for Columbia Gas of Ohio, a utility company
located in Columbus Ohio. In addition, she wrote and published a
weekly menu for the employee cafeteria, which became popular due to its
colorful and descriptive words describing the food. (i.e., “Hamburger”
became “Rootin’ Tootin’ Mouth-Watering Hamburger” etc.) This play on words
helped to boost cafeteria sales (managed by Senese Services) by 38% in
1978.
The
GrapeVine Journal
From
1991 to 1995, Victoria Ring published a monthly mail order 2-color magazine,
which had a distribution per issue of 5,000. Revenue was generated from
the sale of small space advertising, subscriptions and Victoria's own typesetting
services. Operating as a one person operation from her apartment, Victoria
wrote articles, conducted research on mail order scams, analyzed product
reviews and published reports of her findings, typeset the publication
in camera ready format, labeled and mailed the copies after delivery from
printer as well as maintaining a subscriber base of 1,200 to 1,500.
The
Do-It-Yourself Web Designer's Ezine
Published
from 1999 through 2000, this ezine contained hints, tips, step-by-step
instruction and web reference links for people who designed their own websites
and marketed them on the internet. Subscriber base: 2,775
The
Citator
While
serving on the Board of Directors for the Paralegal Association of Central
Ohio (“PACO”) during 2001-2002, Victoria Ring assumed the duties as editor
and typesetter for the organizational newsletter. During her tenure, she
also designed PACO’s original website and established their first online
presence. Although the website has been revised since Victoria first designed
it, you can currently view it online at http://www.pacoparalegals.org/
The
Bankruptcy Paralegal Connection
This
weekly ezine was distributed to bankruptcy attorneys and paralegals nationwide
from 2001-2003. It contained hands-on tips specifically for legal professionals
working in the area of debtor bankruptcy law. The subscriber base was comprised
of approximately 80% attorneys and 20% paralegals.
The
Teleconference News
This
weekly ezine was published to notary publics and virtual bankruptcy assistants
nationwide. It covered tips, information and step-by-step techniques to
further the education and marketing of these two nitch markets.
Networking
Exchange
Began
in 1988, this business was developed to promote networking and the exchange
of ideas between small business owners through a monthly publication entitled
“The Networking News.” Through this company, Victoria Ring received
her education in operating a small business because she made many mistakes.
But these mistakes only helped her to advance. One lesson she learned was
in target marketing and eventually this company developed into Graphico
Publishing.
Graphico
Publishing
Using
the talents Victoria learned working as a typesetter for Battelle Memorial
Institute during the day, she served as writer, editor and publisher of
"The GrapeVine News." This publication was devoted to to exposing mail
order business opportunity scams. She also wrote 350 individual reports
and 17 books regarding her many personal business experiences which are
still sold as part of CDRom packages for homebased entrepreneurs. Graphico
Publishing still exists as the publisher of Victoria’s books but with the
development of the internet, Victoria started a company that was entirely
internet based.
YouOnLine.Net
This
company was Victoria's first internet business. It was dedicated to teaching
small business owners basic web design and aiding them in promotion on
the internet through her own personal marketing experiences. The company
was sold in 1998 when Victoria began her formal education in the paralegal
field even though she had worked for law firms through The Columbus Bar
Association since 1977.
Bankruptcy
Paralegal Services aka Bankruptcy2Go
To
aide low income families during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Victoria developed
the first nationwide “virtual” bankruptcy paralegal service to assist victims
in the preparation of their bankruptcy petitions. This company was sold
in 2003 due to the implementation of new Ohio paralegal regulations, preventing
a paralegal from preparing pro-se bankruptcy petitions without the direct
supervision of an attorney.
The
Lawyer Assistant
In
2001, Victoria developed The Lawyer Assistant in order to meet the demands
of debtor bankruptcy attorneys nationwide. This company not only increased
the profits for law firms but provided them with the ability to expand
their bankruptcy clientele. The Lawyer Assistant also provided client billing
and invoicing services to several local attorney firms utilizing Time Slips
software; as well as transcription for attorneys practicing in the personal
injury, corporate and employment areas of law. Due to the rapid growth
of the company, it was sold to an attorney in Bronxville NY so Victoria
could direct her knowledge to bankruptcy paralegal training and education.
50
State Notary
This
online business was developed at the same time as The Lawyer Assistant
as a hobby for Victoria. But it grew rapidly and became very successful
because of real estate boom. The company provided a nationwide notary directory
for signing agents and was marketed to mortgage and title companies nationwide.
Victoria has wrote four (4) books and developed three (3) training videos
for notary signing agents. She also introduced notary publics to skills
training in preparing bankruptcy petitions and sold 1,000s of books and
videos from her website. Victoria sold company in 2006 due to the increase
in business with 713Training.Com
713Training.Com
This
online business (started in 2005) currently provides a nationwide virtual
bankruptcy assistant directory for bankruptcy attorneys nationwide. Victoria
has also written two (2) books and developed three (3) training videos
to train virtual bankruptcy assistants (working under the direction of
attorneys) in the drafting of a well-detailed bankruptcy petition. Victoria
also provides weekly teleconferences and online web seminars and
conferences dedicated to training and education in the unique field of
preparing well-detailed Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions.
