What Bankruptcy Training Will You Receive?

The sky is the limit. You tell me what areas you want training in and I will provide you with the tools as well as the training you need. Are you just starting your business or law firm?  Then we will need to start with Chapter 7 training, client intake interviews and setting up an effective office or practice.  Perhaps you have already studied the training materials I developed and you want to take your business or law firm to the next level. Then we will work on developing your skills in Chapter 13 petitions as well as the drafting of pleadings and advanced practices and procedures in debtor bankruptcy.

Attorneys and paralegals/virtual bankruptcy assistants are trained differently.  That is because paralegals and virtual bankruptcy assistants need to understand and fully comprehend how not to commit unauthorized practice of law.  Attorneys, however, need to know more about the law and the options available to them in bankruptcy.  Therefore, depending on your level of experience and degree your training will be customized to fit your particular needs. This is why no two training sessions will be the same.  Each one is as unique as you are.

Picking up where the training CDs leave off, you will be trained in the advanced levels of preparing a well detailed Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition, including online research for assets and liens and electronic filing procedures. I will also conduct a mock client intake interview with you to help you improve your skills when talking with clients. Legal ethics will also be included in your training so you are aware of unauthorized practice of law procedures. This training will take from 6-8 hours and cannot be combined with the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Training below. A Certificate of Training is provided after you have taken this training.

Picking up where the training CDs leave off, you will be trained in the advanced levels of preparing a well detailed Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition utilizing three different petitions. These are the same materials I use to train at my Chapter 13 Plan seminars and they cover all the basics of what you will encounter in the majority of consumer bankruptcy cases. This training will take from 6-8 hours and cannot be combined with the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Training above.  A Certificate of Training is provided after you have taken this training.

Business and Marketing Practices. Click here to purchase the Marketing EBook so that you understand the basics before taking this personalized training. Even if you can prepare the best bankruptcy petition in the world, you still need to know how to start and keep money flowing into your business. Training in business and marketing practices can be provided in a wide variety of areas, including web design, internet marketing, designing marketing materials, setting up your business for maximum efficiency and other training to suit your specific needs. Depending on your previous background and knowledge in operating a business, these topics may be combined with Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition training so you can get both in the same day for the same price. However, if you have never operated a business before, you should allow 6-8 hours for training in business and marketing practices.

Training for Attorneys and Law Firms. If you are an attorney and prefer that I travel to your location, please call the office so I can talk with you and assess your needs. Prices range from $499 per day and up depending on the number of people you need trained and the level of training I will be providing.  If attorneys are located 100 miles or more outside Colorado Springs, transportation and hotel expenses will be incurred. These prices vary depending on the law firm's location.

You can choose either the 1 Day or 2 Day Deluxe Package. Each one is reasonably priced so that you will earn your investment back after you process only ONE or TWO Chapter 7 petitions.
 

Can I Bring Additional People With Me?

There is a limit of 2 people per day for personalized training although I prefer 1 person per day.  This limit is in place so that each person receives the maximum amount of training they paid for.

Bring your significant other or the entire family for your training.  While they are enjoying the day in Colorado Springs you can be busy building your company and improving your skills.  This way, you can write off a large majority of the expense on your business taxes.

Colorado Springs is the tourist center of Colorado. Attractions include: Academy Riding Stables, Cave of the Winds, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Flying W Ranch, Garden of the Gods, Ghost Town Museum, Historic Manitou Springs, Historic Cripple Creek, Iron Springs Melodrama Dinner Theater, Mantiou Cliff Dwellings, John May Museum Center, Miramont Castle and Museum, North Pole - Home of Santa's Workshop, Pikes Peak Cog Railway and Seven Falls.

Traveling by Air

I recommend that you check with Frontier Airlines for your travel needs. Frontier is headquartered in Denver, Colorado and normally their rates are much lower than other airlines.  Check travel rates from your location to Denver as well as Colorado Springs and choose the lowest fare.  Regardless of which airport you land in, I will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel.
