ADVANTAGES OF LISTING YOUR SERVICES IN THE
VIRTUAL BANKRUPTCY ASSISTANT NATIONWIDE DIRECTORY:
-
--
Your listing pays for itself
Your listing in Directory will pay for itself when you receive your first job from a bankruptcy attorney.

Your Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant business
receives nationwide exposure
The Directory is marketed to bankruptcy attorneys in all 50 U.S. states. Attorneys visit the Directory to find Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant's to draft their Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions. Also, the Directory is free to access and does not require a password to enter.

You run your own business
Your listing in the Directory is not a membership or false promise to guarantee you work. Instead, this Directory serves as a vehicle to build and operate your own business. The attorney will contact you directly. It is up to you to negotiate your own price and build a long-term relationship with the attorney you choose to work for by providing excellent quality services and suburb customer service. (We recommend charging no less than $200 for a Chapter 7 if you are not experienced and no less than $350 if you are experienced.)

There are no referral fees
Other services require a referral fee for every bankruptcy petition you process through an attorney that locates you in their directory. Often, these directories are also password protected and require even more money to join a program before you can even hope to receive an assignment. The Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant Directory is different. We never require a referral fee and you keep 100% of the money you earn working with attorneys.  In fact, the Directory is your first step to securing a long-term business relationship with attorneys who could keep you busy for many years to come.

Question? Where did the career title "Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant" originate?

The author, Victoria Ring, asked her friend Gloria Joyce (who worked with immigration forms) what her job title was.  Gloria said she was a immigration forms processor; so the phrase bankruptcy forms processor was originally coined from Gloria Joyce.  The term virtual bankruptcy assistant was coined in 2006 in an effort to not confuse a bankruptcy forms processor with a non-attorney preparer. This seems to be a common problem for people who are marketing their services to bankruptcy attorneys.  Some attorneys take a dim view to non-attorneys who prepare petitions for the general public. Using the title virtual bankruptcy assistant instead of bankruptcy forms processor helps in establishing more credibility for this service business and will create less confusion about the unauthorized practice of law issue.
